Freight Elevator Door Sheaves
Door sheaves are required to support the doors and chains of automatic freight elevator hoistway doors. Two motorized door sheaves assemblies are required at each opening. The chain rolls over the sheave which is driven by the motor, thus opening and closing the doors. Depending upon the job specifications, there are a number of different types of motorized door sheave assemblies. TRICO can provide you with the door sheaves you need, when you need them.
TRICO provides you with the following motorized door sheaves:
- Standard Two-speed motorized door sheave assemblies (one motor with two speeds)
- High Torque Two-speed motorized door sheave assemblies (one motor with two speeds)
- Super High Torque two-speed motorized door sheave assemblies (one motor with twp-speeds), for doors 10ft and over
- Low Clearance Motorized door sheave assembly (one slow speed and one fast speed motor) for limited clearance between shaft wall and door rails
- Single Speed motorized door sheave assembly (one fast speed motor only)

Please note: Door motorized sheave assemblies are all handed, please specify hand upon ordering. To determine hand; when you are inside the elevator looking out whatever side the interlock is on is the hand you need to order.
